So who has made plans?? If you have ever celebrated this day, you know it may be difficult to narrow it down to one perfect outfit. This week we took on the task to come up with two daytime and two evening time options for this special day. Hope these pictures inspire you to recreate something that fits perfectly into your plans.

The following are some outfit ideas that are suitable for daytime activities, so whether you’re going on a picnic, to an amusement park, or grab lunch with a friend or significant other these outfits may be helpful guides for you!

Let’s get started…

OUTFIT 1: SWEET AS CANDY.

Rosie: This outfit would be perfect for someone who wants to add a bit of innocence, casualty, and fuchsia to an outfit. I wanted this outfit to be more suitable for outdoor activities and so I chose to wear pants, a pink belt, nude wedges (you could also wear flats, sandals, or booties-of course depending on the weather),  a white lace crop top, a bandeau, a jean ombre jacket, and a few accessories.

This top allows me to be a bit daring since it is on the sheer side, nonetheless, I kept it classy by wearing a black bandeau underneath. You definitely don’t want to send the wrong message by exposing too much!

On the lower half, I wore a pink belt to keep my high rise jeans from falling, and a jean jacket just in case it gets chilly at night.

For accessories I paired my outfit with a rose gold chain necklace and rose gold watch, and finally, to tie everything together, I wore neutral color wedges and purse. As for makeup, I would recommend choosing a bright pink or red lip with a neutral eye to complete the look (like mine).

Get the Look: Foreign Exchange bandeau, lace top (unknown- but thanks mom!), Gap pants, Guess denim jacket,Forever 21 wedges, and Vince Camuto necklace

OUTFIT 2: ALL ABOUT THE DRESS

Angelica: Whoever says you cannot pull off a “dressier” dress during the daytime is completely wrong. When it comes down to this look you just have to choose the right accessories and the right occasion.

Let me start off by saying that I absolutely love this dress! The bright colors just scream daytime chic! I think this dress is perfect for a lunch date with a significant other–  and talk about impressing your date! Since this dress is such an attention getter you want to wear neutral jewelry, shoes, and purse to not overwhelm the look. IMG_0364

These gladiator inspired heels dress down the dress and my loose curls soften and romanticize my look. I couldn’t just stop there! I really wanted to add the color that stands for passion and love on my lips (bright red lips are usually a must for me).IMG_0355

Get the Look: Forever 21 dress (only $20! what a steal), Nine West heels

The following outfits are more evening inspired looks that are perfect for a hot or romantic valentine’s date.

OUTFIT 3: LACE ME, LACE ME NOTIMG_0424

Rosie: Since I’m not much of a dress kind of girl, I decided to wear an outfit that would be dressy enough for an elegant dinner but that would still be comfortable to wear TO dinner (you know a girl’s gotta eat haha). IMG_0445

Sooo listen up ladies! Peplum tops, like the one I’m wearing, disguise unwanted bulges and add more shape to your figure (shhh…no one has to know)! This is by far one of my FAVORITE peplum tops indeed– It’s sweet, elegant, romantic, and all the wonderful things I love in a top.

Whenever you incorporate a peplum top to your outfit, you want to balance it out by wearing something tighter on the bottom. What I like to call my “reverse ombre” body con skirt does just that for me! The same kind of balance goes into the sex appeal of this outfit– cute and sweet on the top and BAM! short and sexy on the bottom (legs! legs! legs!)

Now, since this is an evening look, I chose these metallic gold strappy heels to add some glamour to my outfit!

Get the Look: Arden B top, Guess skirt, Steve Madden heels (very uncomfortable–ugh the pain), Michael Kors watch

OUTFIT 4: RED & BLACK HOTNESS

IMG_0393

Angelica: What’s hotter than (faux) leather and the color red?? uhh… possibly nothing! haha

For this look, I was inspired to do something a bit edgy and sexy—I doubt your boyfriend would complain, right? Valentine’s day may be for cute cards, dinners, flowers….but let’s not forget about the couples out there who love to dance and may want to celebrate by going to a lounge of some sort.

Here I’m wearing a red crop top, black faux leather skirt, a rose gold chain necklace, and some very sexy lace up heels. Simple yet it works! For hair, bouncy curls are always lovely and a red lip never fails.

Special thanks to Cristhian Rodriguez for the photos! You’re the best!

We hope to have instilled some Valentine’s day outfit inspiration in all of you!! Good Luck on your special day!!

XOXO

  1. Lovely outfits. Rosy, instead of wearing a black bra you should stck with a creamy or white bra. Black is too strong of an accent for what you are wearing. Thats my opinion and im sticking to it 🙂

    1. thanks for subscribing! and yes you’re right, a white or cream bra and bandeau would work better for my first outfit. I don’t own a lighter bandeau and had to work with what I have, but I’m definitely buying one soon to use with more outfits.
